ok will now blog about the camp. as promised and requested.

monday
--------------
got up early. tampines isn't near dover to begin with.
rode a taxi to eunos, then met shirong there. then mrt-ed to dover. wasn't late thankfully.
we later split (he's in same course, but class 1A07). four people (xiu e, deyun, sean, graeme, though i didn't know them at the time) were already there. anw it took another half hour for the whole class to appear.
thus started the laptop tutorial and eliser tour. and honestly, it's very dry -.-
skip!
lunch was later, and omg it was so cramped! -.- had western there.
then went to the tutorial room for ice-breaking.
KC (my facilitator), upon watching the other class play these games, openly declared:
"...i've always wanted to abolish such stupid games...since i'm facil now, i HEARBY ABOLISH ICE-BREAKING GAMES!!!" so funny, that joker =x
so we introduced ourselves (typical), and thn did the '1st impressions' activity.
LOL so many gamers and superstars -.-
thn they describe me as rich, pampered =.="
xiu e wanted to call me 'boss face', thn end up being misinterpreted as 'balls face'!! ROFLOLMAO! "=.="
ok thn finish and went home.

tuesday
------------------
went on my own this time. met at convention centre this time.
started with talks by the principal and school director. okok =)
thn went for station games.
FIRST trust fall. we form links with arms thn the girls fall onto the arms (thus trust)
NEXT chair race. we lost. no forfeit! =DD
LAST is one where you have to get past lines of pple and capture the flag. we lost. miserably.
thn met back to continue intro. deyun superstar leh! adam something...heh.
thn went home. again.
shi rong dislocated his shoulder! =O could see the bone jutting out. *gasp*

wednesday

shortest day.
went to mlt10 again...thn the lecturers were talking about experiences...WANNA GO JAPAN CREDIT EXCHANGE!!! =p
go play games later...
1st played stocks game. needa tikam-tikam (wild guess) the prices of diff stocks. and we got all correct O.o
thn theres the hangman and some ball game....forgot the details.
when we got 3rd, KC was like crying out "they cheat, get 2nd, we play fair, get 3rd!" LOL
then went back. collected tin cans and stickers and shirts for flag day.

thursday
------------------
FLAG DAY.
was slightly late (overslept =x)
but alot of pple were later thn i was =)
started off with taiko. thn off we go! walked to buona vista with the class, then holland v.
was debating whether we wanted breakfast. and i gave up. the guys left me behind (they went to vivo) so i was left behind in holland v.
collected abit there. thn went to the coffee bean to break. sean and deyun (superstar) met me there. explored holland v and its surroundings. had really good food. collected more $$ on the way. explored all the way back to sp. =p
collected $11.35!
also needa learn more about chuck norris! (inside joke)
bought the books. thn went home.
suppose to have a welcome party, but was lazy to wait 2 hrs for it.
back to where i am.~

ok yesterday went to queensway shopping centre with zibin, alvin, samuel and ying hong. originally it was for the latter 2 to buy shoes, but all of us bought. and they bought more.

and yes the curry rice there is awesome. definitely go there again! =p

update time!

ok yesterday was rather erm, emotional?
omg each of us alum had to make a short 'speech'
the reason why presumably mine sucked is down to 2 reasons:
1) thank you erika lydia hanwen bryan yuling for taking whatever i wanted to say; and
2)interrupted by dear bryan (^%%$%#%).

ok, so the juniors wrote a card for us, which was quite sweet.
hahahaa tuan BOO!
dunno whos holding it nw... =x

this is followed by tears (NOT ME BRYAN! NOT. ME.) and hugs. and well, more hugs.
don't forget us.
because i'm sure as hell we won't forget you guys.

i (we) appreciate the hard work put in thus far and, having striven towards this moment for weeks, hope we'll look back at this in a positive light as a day to remember. last chance to fine tune.

and should there be no opportunities for me to say so: even though you guys may have been rather, ahem, rowdy at times, i would still like to thank you all for co-operating and for the liveliness (?!), as well as colouring my schedule because well, my holidays would be so, so dull. and i have made new friends as well =)

not in hd, but good enough.

the 1st beautiful sunset i've seen in a long time

today's sunset. a brilliant orange hue this one.

orange is everywhere!

a rainbow, after the storm. excellent.

i doubt i'll see another one like this anytime soon.

hello.

long time no blog so...
i'll blog.

ok recently i went to billy bombers with the family to celebrate my Os (lil late isn't it?)
and this is my main course...

fried fish with fries and salad!~

and that, pple, was completely devoured. =)

along with that, i took:

1) potato salad
2) vanilla malt shake (my fave ;D)
3) a glass of water, and not for4getting
4) 1/3 a basket of cheese fries...

as you can see, I WAS HUNGRY.
speaking of hungry...my tummy's growling now.
needa eat! D:

AND WENXIN, I WILL BEAT YOU IN GEO CHALLENGE SOMEDAY!

lady employee: are you ok?

glosser (entranced/stunned): you have a daughter...

lady employee: yes? what is it?

glosser: ...she's at home with the housekeeper...

ladyemp: yes..?

glosser: ...the housekeeper just waxed the kitchen floor...

ladyemp: yes..?

glosser: ...your daughter's running... on the wet kitchen floor...

ladyemp (nervous): and...?!

glosser: she's leaving footprints...

ladyemp: yeah?

glosser: ...the housekeeper's annoyed... she has to do that part of the floor over again.

ladyemp: really?

glosser: it's not too late! you can call her...and save her!

ladyemp: um...i have some work to do, but I'll call her later. okay? say, how did you get these powers anyway?

glosser (looking into camera): i...don't...know...

ED GLOSSER: TRIVIAL PSYCHIC
during a brief power outage, ed glosser's tanning booth experiences a slight malfunction. forfeiting a darker base, he instead gains the mildly impressive ability to foretell insignificant events of the immediate future.
this is his story...

part 2 (2 men come into ed's office)

employee #1 (phil hartman): ed, I want you to meet bob. he just joined us over in accounting.

bob (rob schneider): nice to meet you! (shakes glosser's hand)

glosser (entranced): tomorrow...on the way to work...you're gonna buy a cup of coffee...

bob: yeah?

glosser: then you're gonna hail a cab...

bob: uh huh? does the cab crash?

glosser: no...you're gonna leave the coffee in the cab.

bob: ok...i guess i'll have to get another cup when i get here.

glosser: look, you don't get it! you're wasting coffee!

employee #1: ed, ed, ed.. what's the big deal? it's just a cup of coffee! look, we've got a whole pot of it over there.

glosser (touches emp#1's arm and is again entranced): at lunch...you're gonna treat yourself to a vanilla ice cream...you're gonna eat it too fast...you're gonna get an ice cream headache...it's gonna hurt real bad...right...(touches the middle of his forehead)...here, for eight, nine seconds.

employee #1: ed, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but you're giving everybody the creeps.

glosser: i didn't ask for these powers! they just came to me!

employee #1 (pretends to be psychic): well, I see a large stack of papers on your desk...and I see you finishing them all by five o'clock! (laughs and turns to leave)

bob: hey, uh.. nice meeting you! (prepares to shake glosser's hand but pulls out quickly and walks away)

(employee #2 (adam sandler) walks into glosser's office.)

employee #2: hey! psychic man! what do you see happening in the world series - toronto or atlanta?

glosser (upset): i can't believe you're asking me to use my powers in that way!

(employee #2 grabs glosser's arm, thrown into entrancement again.)

glosser: you're eating a bag of pistachios...you will find that one is very difficult to open...

employee #2: yeah?

glosser: you're not going to be able to open it with your fingers...you're gonna have to use your teeth...it's gonna taste very bad...

employee #2: for just that one nut?

glosser: yes.

employee #2: alright.. well, thanks for that tip. i'm going to go call my bookie now. (exits)

(glosser remains, extremely frustrated.)

(delivery man (chris rock) enters the room.)

delivery man: excuse me, did you order a tuna fish sandwich?

glosser: yeah...(forks out some notes, and touches delivery man's hand, thus entranced once more)

glosser: you have a car...

delivery man: yeah?

glosser: could you give me a lift home? nobody around here likes me.

delivery man: sure, why not?

(glosser falls into one last trance...)

glosser: there's going to be traffic.

(both exit the office. picture fades.)
